The yellow ABS warning indicator is always on	DTCs in the ABS module	RETRIEVE and RECORD any ABS module DTCs. GO to the ABS MODULE DTC CHART .
The yellow ABS warning indicator is always on	ABS module IC	If there are no DTCs present in the ABS module, REFER to Diagnosis and Testing in INFORMATION CENTER - INSTRUMENTATION AND WARNING CHIMES article.
The sliding-car icon is always on	DTCs in the ABS module	RETRIEVE and RECORD any ABS module DTCs. GO to the ABS MODULE DTC CHART .
The sliding-car icon is always on	Stability/traction control system IC	If there are no DTCs present in the ABS module, REFER to Diagnosis and Testing in INFORMATION CENTER - INSTRUMENTATION AND WARNING CHIMES article.
Both the yellow ABS warning indicator and the sliding-car icon are always on	DTCs in the ABS module	RETRIEVE and RECORD any ABS module DTCs. GO to the ABS MODULE DTC CHART .

Spongy brake pedal with no warning indicator	Air in the brake hydraulic system	BLEED the brake system and the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU). REFER to Brake System Bleeding in BRAKE SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION article.
Spongy brake pedal with no warning indicator	Damaged or incorrectly installed brake components	INSPECT the brake pedal, brake booster and master cylinder for correct installation. REFER to HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEM ACTUATION article for the brake pedal and master cylinder. REFER to PARKING BRAKE SYSTEM - PARKING BRAKE & ACTUATION article for the brake booster. CORRECT the installation or INSTALL new as necessary. TEST the system for normal operation.
