Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the LH front seat. For additional information, refer to SEATING .
  2. Remove the scuff plate trim panel and the cowl side trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
  3. NOTE: The Fuel Pump (FP) control module is located on the rear surface of the LH front seat mount.
  4. Disconnect the FP  control module electrical connector.
  5. NOTE: Do not overtighten the fasteners or damage to the module may occur.
  6. Remove the 2 FP  control module nuts.
    • To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
