Transmission Range (TR) Sensor

The Transmission Range (TR) sensor is located inside of the transaxle and indicates gearshift position to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) uses that information to enable the starting system to start the engine in PARK or NEUTRAL. REFER to SENSORS AND SWITCHES .
