Collision Avoidance: Overview

The forward collision warning system alerts the driver of a collision risk with a red warning Light-emitting Diode (LED) indicator bar located above the instrument panel (which is part of the Head Up Display (HUD) module) and an audible warning chime from the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC).
