In-Vehicle Servicing: Flexplate: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
  2. Remove the transaxle. For additional information, refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION - 4F27E article.
  3. Install the Flywheel Holding Tool and remove the 6 flexplate bolts and the flexplate.
