Toe Adjustment - Front
- Using alignment equipment and the manufacturer's instructions, measure the front toe.
- Start the engine and center the steering wheel.
- Turn the engine OFF and, using a suitable steering wheel holding device, lock the steering wheel in the straight forward position.
- Remove the clamps.
- Loosen the tie-rod end adjustment nuts.
- Rotate the front wheel spindle tie rods.
- Tighten the nuts to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
- Install the clamps.
- Recheck the toe settings, adjust as necessary.
NOTE:
Do not allow the steering gear bellows to twist when the front wheel spindle tie rod is rotated.
