Gearshift Cables: Installation

    CAUTION: When inserting the gearshift cables through the dash panel, make sure the arrow on the grommet is pointing upward.
  1. Carefully install the shift cables into position. Do not damage the shift cable retainers.

    To install, reverse the removal procedure.

  2. Adjust the gearshift cables. For additional information, refer to MANUAL TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION AND CLUTCH - GENERAL INFORMATION .
