In-Vehicle Servicing: Flexplate: Removal

    WARNING: If equipped with fire suppression system, depower the system. For important safety warnings and procedures, refer to FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM article.
  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
  2. Remove the transmission. For additional information, refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION article.
  3. Remove the 6 bolts and the flexplate.
