Front Toe Adjustment

  1. Using alignment equipment and the manufacturer's instructions, measure the front toe.
  2. Start the engine and center the steering wheel.
  3. Turn the engine OFF and, using a suitable steering wheel holding device, lock the steering wheel in the straight forward position.
  4. Remove the clamps.

  5. Loosen the tie-rod end adjustment nuts.

  6. NOTE: Do not allow the steering gear bellows to twist when the front wheel spindle tie rod is rotated.

  7. Rotate the front wheel spindle tie rods.
  8. Tighten the nuts to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).

  9. Install the clamps.

  10. Recheck the toe settings, adjust as necessary.
