Description And Operation: Anti-Theft: Notes
The perimeter alarm system consists of:
- anti-theft alarm horn
- traffic horn
- front door ajar switches
- door lock control switch
- anti-theft hood switch
- luggage compartment lid ajar switch
- convertible top ajar switch (if equipped)
- luggage compartment lid anti-theft inhibit switch
- door disarm switch (SET/RESET)
- remote keyless entry (RKE) transmitter
- ignition switch
- intrusion and inclination sensor
- smart junction box (SJB)
- powertrain control module (PCM)
- controller area network (CAN)
The anti-theft perimeter protection feature is controlled by the SJB.
NOTE:
The convertible top, the luggage compartment lid, and all doors must be closed for the interior motion sensing feature to activate.
NOTE:
All the windows must be closed for correct motion sensing operation.
NOTE:
The inclination sensing feature must be disarmed before raising the vehicle on a hoist to prevent false alarms.
