Fuel Tank Draining

This procedure involves fuel handling. Be prepared for fuel spillage at all times and always observe fuel handling precautions. Failure to follow these instructions can result in personal injury.
NOTE:
The fuel tank filler pipe must be removed for fuel tank draining due to the installation of a spark arrestor internally mounted in the fuel tank filler pipe. This will not allow a drain tube to pass into the fuel tank for draining purposes.
- Remove the fuel tank filler pipe. For additional information, refer to FUEL TANK & LINES .
- Insert a suitable fuel drain tube into the fuel tank.
- Attach the fuel storage tanker to the fuel drain tube and extract the fuel from the fuel tank.
