Transmission Fluid Cooler Tubes: Installation

NOTE: When connecting the cooler hoses to the cooler lines the white mark on the cooler tube must be aligned with the H mark on the hose.

NOTE: Use a backup wrench to hold the case fitting secure.

Install the fluid cooler tubes at the transmission.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

Vehicles equipped with a 4.6L engine, install the fluid cooler tube bracket at the engine.
- Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

Vehicles equipped with a 4.0L engine, install the fluid cooler tube bracket at the engine.
- Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

Fill the transmission with fluid and verify proper operation.
