Exhaust Manifold - RH: Installation

  1. Install a new RH exhaust manifold gasket.
  2. Install the RH exhaust manifold and the 6 nuts.
    • Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft) in the sequence shown in illustration.

  3. Install the RH heat shield and the 3 nuts.
    • Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
  4. Install the cowl top panel and bolts.
    • Tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
  5. Connect the windshield wiper motor electrical connector.
  6. Install the cowl panel grille. For additional information, refer to FRONT END BODY PANELS .
  7. Install the dual converter Y-pipe. For additional information, refer to EXHAUST SYSTEM .
