Block Heater: Installation

  1. Install the block heater.

    2. NOTE: Make sure that the block heater wiring is routed and secured away from rotating or hot components, or damage to the wiring can occur.

  2. Connect the block heater electrical connector.
  3. Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  4. Fill and bleed the cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
