Seal - Front Output: Installation

  1. Using the special tools, install a new front output seal.

  2. Install the front flange.
    • Use the special tool to prevent the flange from turning while installing a new nut.

    3. CAUTION: Align the index marks.
  3. Install the front driveshaft. For additional information, REFER to DRIVESHAFT .
  4. Check and, if necessary, fill the transfer case with the specified fluid to the specified level. For additional information, refer to TRANSFER CASE DRAINING AND FILLING  in this article.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
