Digital Transmission Range (TR) Sensor: Removal

  1. Place the transaxle range selector lever in NEUTRAL.

  2. Disconnect the battery ground cable (14301). For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  3. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor and the breather tubes.

  4. Remove the engine air cleaner.

  5. Remove the air filter assembly.

  6. Disconnect the connector.

  7. Remove the manual control lever and cable.
    1. Remove the nut.
    2. Remove the manual control lever and cable.

  8. Remove the digital TR sensor.
