Anti-Lock Control

The anti-lock control system consists of the following components:

• hydraulic control unit (HCU)
• HCU bracket
• anti-lock brake control module
• rear wheel speed sensor (located in the center top position on the rear axle assembly)
• rear anti-lock brake sensor indicator (part of the rear differential)
• front wheel speed sensor
• front anti-lock brake sensor indicator (part of the front rotor in 2WD vehicles)
• front anti-lock brake sensor indicator (part of the front wheel bearing assembly in 4WD vehicles)
• yellow ABS warning indicator
• brake pedal position (BPP) switch
• red brake warning indicator
• brake fluid level switch
