Connecting Rod - Large End Bore

Tighten the bolts to specification, then measure the bore in two directions. The difference is the connecting rod bore out-of-round. Verify the out-of-round is within specification.
- Refer to ENGINE- 3.8L & 3.9L or ENGINE- 4.6L (2V) or ENGINE- COBRA 4.6L (4V) or ENGINE - MACH1 4.6L (4V) for the procedure .
- If out of specification, install new components as necessary. Refer to ENGINE- 3.8L & 3.9L or ENGINE- 4.6L (2V) or ENGINE- COBRA 4.6L (4V) or ENGINE - MACH1 4.6L (4V) for the procedure .
