Four-Wheel Drive Systems

The four-wheel drive system consists of:

• mode select switch (MSS) located on the instrument panel center finish panel
• Four-wheel drive relay located under the trim panel by the rear accessory power point.
• transfer case mounted to the front transaxle. For additional information, refer to xTRANSFER CASE .
• driveshaft and universal joints (transfers power from the transfer case to the RBC). For additional information, refer to DRIVESHAFT .
• rotary blade coupling (RBC) mounted to the front of the rear differential. For additional information, refer to REAR DRIVE AXLE/DIFFERENTIAL .
