Fuel Tank Draining

WARNING: Do not smoke or carry lighted tobacco or open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel-related component. Highly flammable mixtures are always present and may be ignited. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.
  1. Remove the fuel pump module. For additional information, refer to FUEL TANK & LINES .
  2. NOTE: Install a new fuel pump mounting gasket prior to installing the fuel pump module.
  3. Use a fuel storage tanker to siphon the fuel through the fuel pump module opening.
