Transmission Range (Tr) Sensor: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable (14301).

  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube; refer to AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS .
  3. Remove the (A) shift cable and bracket nut and the (B) control cable front clamp (7713).

  4. Remove the (A) manual control lever nut and the (B) manual control lever.

  5. Disconnect the transmission range (TR) sensor electrical connector.

  6. Remove the TR sensor bolts and remove the TR sensor.
