Fuel Tank Draining
WARNING:
Before performing any fuel system related procedure, read and follow fuel system safety precautions. See FUEL SYSTEM SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
NOTE:
Verify the flapper door at the bottom of the fuel filler pipe is in place after removing fuel tank drain hose.
NOTE:
Special tools required: Fuel Storage Tanker (164-R3202) or equivalent. See Fig 1.
- Disconnect battery.
- Insert the fuel tank drain hose into the filler neck.
- Attach the fuel storage tanker to the fuel tank drain hose and remove the fuel.
- Remove the fuel tank drain hose.
