Transaxle Support Insulator - Lower, Rear: Removal

  1. Install Three-Bar Engine Support.

  2. Raise and support the vehicle; refer to JACKING & HOISTING .
  3. Remove the crossmember.
    1. Remove the bolts.
    2. Remove the crossmember.

  4. Remove the splash shield bolts from the transmission support crossmember.

  5. NOTE: Disconnect the A/C line from the retainer located on the front of the transmission support crossmember.

  6. Remove the transmission support crossmember.
    1. Remove the transmission support crossmember bolts and nuts.
    2. Remove the LH front engine insulator nuts.
    3. Remove the transmission insulator nuts.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
  8. Lower the rear of the engine partially to gain access to the lower rear support insulator bolt.
    • Loosen the nuts in the Three-Bar Engine Support to lower the engine.

  9. Raise and support the vehicle; refer to JACKING & HOISTING .
  10. Remove the lower rear transmission insulator.
    1. Remove the through bolt.
    2. Remove the lower rear transmission insulator.
