Brake Pedal: Notes

NOTE: The adjustable pedal assembly is shown, the fixed pedal assembly is similar.
  1. If equipped with adjustable pedals, make sure they are in the full forward position.
  2. Remove the instrument panel steering column reinforcement. For additional information, refer to BODY SYSTEM - INTERIOR
  3. Release the LH demister duct from the plenum chamber and remove the demister duct.
  4. Remove the parts in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.
    PARTS REMOVAL STEPS

    Part Steps
    Fixed pedal assembly 1-5, 7, 8, 10
    Adjustable pedal assembly 1-10
    Adjustable pedal motor assembly 9, 11-13
    Drive cable assembly 11, 12

  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
