Lower Control Arm: Installation
NOTE:
Manufacturer recommends replacing all nuts and bolts with NEW parts. The front suspension lower arm nuts must be tightened with the suspension at curb height.
- Install lower control arm. Do not tighten the bolts at this time. Install the power rack and pinion steering gear. Position the intermediate shaft and install a NEW bolt.
- Install the front coil spring. See COIL SPRING . Tighten all nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Check wheel alignment. See SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES article in WHEEL ALIGNMENT.
