Spring Lock Couplings: Connect

Inspect and clean both the coupling ends. Lubricate the O-ring seals with Super Premium SAE 5W-30 XO-5W30-QSP or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSS-M2C153-G.

Connect the coupler by inserting the male end into the female end of the coupler. Push the coupler together until the garter spring is engaged.

Pull on the coupler to make sure it is fully engaged.

Install the safety clip.
