Engine Dynamic Balance Shaft: Removal

  1. Remove the engine front cover (6019). For additional information, refer to ENGINE FRONT COVER .
  2. Remove the synchronizer drive gear.

  3. Remove the crankshaft sprocket (6306), camshaft sprocket (6256) and timing chain as an assembly.

  4. Remove the engine balance shaft drive gear (6A303).

  5. Remove the timing chain vibration damper (6284).

  6. Remove the screws and the engine dynamic balance shaft (6A311).
