Transmission Range Sensor: Installation

- Place transaxle in Neutral and align marks on TR sensor and manual lever. See Figure . Install and hand tighten 2 TR sensor retaining bolts. Adjust TR sensor. See TRANSMISSION RANGE SENSOR under ADJUSTMENTS. Ensure TR sensor harness connector is connected.
- Position manual control lever into place and tighten manual control lever nut to specification. Install shift cable and bracket and tighten nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install air cleaner outlet tube. Reconnect negative battery cable. Ensure vehicle starts only when gearshift lever is in Park and Neutral positions.
