Timing Chain: Installation

  1. Align the timing marks.

  2. Install the timing chain, the camshaft sprocket and the crankshaft sprocket as an assembly.

  3. Install the camshaft sprocket bolt.

  4. Install the engine front cover. Refer to ENGINE FRONT COVER - WITH CIII POWER STEERING SYSTEM  OR ENGINE FRONT COVER - WITH CII POWER STEERING SYSTEM .
  5. Connect the battery ground cable.
