Trouble Shooting
NOTE:
For trouble shooting procedures not listed, see POWERTRAIN
in BASIC TROUBLE SHOOTING article in GENERAL INFORMATION.
It is important to get an accurate description of the concern before any diagnosis can be carried out. Ask questions as to whether it occurs when hot or cold, during shifting, driving at a particular speed or in a particular gear. If possible, have the customer demonstrate the concern. If the concern is not evident, diagnose by symptom. See SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS .
