Connecting Rod - Large End Bore

Tighten the bolts to specification, then measure the bore in two directions. The difference is the connecting rod bore out-of-round. Verify the out-of-round is within specification.
- Refer to GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS for 3.8L engines or GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS for 4.6L engines.
- If out of specification, install new components as necessary. Refer to PISTON for 3.8L engines or PISTON for 4.6L engines.
