Position Sensor

The power sliding door module supplies a five volt reference voltage to the position sensor on a valid open command or anytime the power sliding door is in the open position. The power sliding door module constantly supplies the ground. The position sensor has two data lines that the power sliding door module reads and tracks to determine the power sliding door movement and position. The power sliding door position is tracked so the power sliding door may be powered in the correct direction when a valid operation command is received. The velocity is tracked to identify obstructions and reverse power sliding door operation if required.
