Trouble Shooting

Before performing any testing, check central junction box fuses No. 5 (15-amp), No. 13 (20-amp) and No. 15 (5-amp), damaged harness, brake pedal position switch, speed control switch assembly, powertrain control module, brake pressure switch, damaged or binding servo/actuator cable, incorrect servo/actuator cable adjustment and incorrect stoplight operation. If problem is found, repair as necessary. If problem is not found, perform self-diagnostics on Expedition or repair by symptom on Navigator. On Expedition, see SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM (EXPEDITION) .
