Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Release 2 locking tabs and remove ashtray and cup holder assembly. See Figure. Disconnect ashtray and cup holder assembly electrical connector. Remove 4 pin-type retainers and console cover. See Figure. Remove 2 screws and instrument panel center finish panel. See Figure. Disconnect cigarette lighter electrical connector. Remove 4 screws and A/C control panel. See Fig 1. Disconnect connectors from back of control panel. See Fig 2. Remove control panel.
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure.
