Removal & Installation: Condenser: Installation

  1. Check radiator to condenser seal for proper position. Install condenser by guiding lower and upper tabs into retention clips on radiator and pressing down to snap into place. See Figure .
  2. Install upper condenser radiator fan module bracket and puck assemblies. See Figure . Tighten to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Remove protective cap from the compressor hose and install a NEW sealing washer. Install compressor hose to condenser with the nut. See Figure . Tighten to specification.
  4. Install NEW seal washer and install RD line to condenser. Tighten to specification. See Figure .
  5. Install CRFM closeout panel. Install battery box air duct. Install front fascia. See Figure .
  6. Evacuate, charge and leak test A/C system. See RECOVERY, EVACUATION & RECHARGING in GENERAL SERVICING PROCEDURES article in GENERAL SERVICING.
