WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Saturn LW300, 2002 Saturn LW200, 2002 Saturn L300, 2002 Saturn L200, and 2002 Saturn L100. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
WARNING:
Performing the 45 MPH A/C performance test will require that an assistant drive the vehicle so you can monitor and record the gauge reading. Routing of the gauge hoses must be done in such a manor that the hood can be fully closed and secured before test driving. Care must also be taken to ensure that hoses do not interfere with any moving parts (throttle cable or linkages, belts, pulleys, etc.).
NOTE:
A Tech 2 with version 19.005 or higher software is required to perform this test.
- Install a manifold gage set to high and low side service ports and route hoses so that gages can be read from inside vehicle with hood closed.

- Release Tech 2 control of engine cooling fans.
- Compare readings to system performance table and perform additional diagnostics as required. See A/C SYSTEM PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONS .
NOTE:
Allow A/C system pressures to stabilize before beginning test.
