Diagnostic tests or repairs are not to be performed on seat components with front seats installed in vehicle. Prior to diagnosis or repair of any seat component, remove front seats and ensure appropriate air bag simulators are installed at side air bag connectors. See FRONT SEAT under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
