Preliminary Inspection

Verify the customer's complaint. Before performing any testing, perform a visual inspection. Check for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage. Check for damaged window mounting and window frame interference. Check Central Junction Box (CJB) circuit breaker No. 43 (20-amp). CJB is located under left side of instrument panel. Check connectors for loose, damaged or corroded terminals. Check for damaged wiring harness. If no problem is found, repair by symptom. See SYMPTOM INDEX  table under SYSTEM TESTS.
