Parameter Identification (PID)

Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Connect New Generation Star (NGS) scan tool, or OBD-II compatible scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Following manufacturer's instructions, enter PID/DATA MONITOR AND RECORD for desired module. Operate appropriate system and ensure expected PID values are displayed on scan tool.
