System Tests: Notes

CAUTION: Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical charges. Damage may result to electronic modules if exposed to static electrical charges. Ensure ignition switch is in OFF position before disconnecting any module connector.

Condition Perform Test
No Communication With Parking Aid Module A 
No Communication With Rear Electronic Module B 
Parking Aid System Inoperative C 
Continuous Or Intermittent Tone When No Obstacles Or DTCs Are Present (1)
(1) Ensure rear bumper and parking aid sensors are clean, parking aid sensors and sensor holders are locked correctly into position. Perform AZIMUTH SYSTEM CHECK  and ELEVATION SYSTEM CHECK  under SYSTEM OPERATION CHECKS under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
