Combination Fluid Cooler

    CAUTION: Use new clamps, position within hose marking.
  1. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection, determine the symptom(s). GO to SYMPTOM CHART .
  2. Remove the splash shield.
    1. Remove the five screws and air deflector, if equipped.
    2. Remove the remaining seven screws and the splash shield.

  3. NOTE: Place a drain pan under the transaxle fluid cooler.

  4. Disengage the clamps and remove the transmission fluid cooler hoses and the power steering fluid cooler hoses.
  5. Remove the bolts and the combination fluid cooler.

  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Fill the transaxle to the specified level. For additional information, refer to CHECKING FLUID LEVEL & CONDITION .
    • Fill and purge the power steering system of air.
