Description & Operation
Power windows are monitored by the Generic Electronic Module (GEM). GEM offers diagnostics to help locate and repair concerns affecting subsystems it controls.
Reversible type motors are mounted with each window regulator. A master window control switch is located on driver's door from which both front windows may be controlled. Passenger's window can also be controlled by an individual window switch located on passenger's door.
Pressing and holding a window switch in up or down position, allows window to stop in desired position as soon as window switch is released. One-touch down feature on master window control switch allows driver to lower driver's window fully by momentarily pressing master window control switch in driver's window down position. One-touch down feature can only be actuated at master window control switch.
