Powertrain Control Module

Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) control functions are contained in the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). PCM carries out all PATS functions. When ignition switch is turned to ON or START position, PCM initiates PATS key interrogation sequence. PATS Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) can be retrieved using New Generation Star (NGS) tester connected to Data Link Connector (DLC).
