Trouble Shooting

Verify customer's complaint by operating power windows. Check window switch(es) for obvious signs of damage. Check window alignment and window regulator mounting. Check window frame for interference. Inspect for blown fuses at battery junction box fuse No. 12 (30-amp) and central junction box fuse No. 20 (7.5-amp). Check for damaged wiring harness and loose or corroded connections. If inspection reveals an obvious concern which can be easily serviced, correct malfunction before continuing. If concern remains after inspection, check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
