Remote Transmitter

NOTE: All remote transmitters must be programmed into Central Security Module (CSM) at the same time.

Cycle ignition switch 8 times from LOCK position to ON position within 10 seconds, ending with ignition switch in RUN position. Doors will lock and unlock to indicate Central Security Module (CSM) has entered program mode. Within 20 seconds, press any button on remote transmitter. Doors will lock, then unlock to confirm that remote transmitter has been programmed into CSM. Repeat procedure for each transmitter.

If door locks do not respond for any remote transmitter during programming, wait several seconds and press remote transmitter button again. If door locks still do not respond, diagnose and repair remote keyless entry system concern. Go to SYSTEM TESTS . To exit program mode, turn ignition switch to OFF position, or wait up to 20 seconds after last remote transmitter has been programmed.
