Restraints Control Module (RCM): Installation

To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten RCM bracket bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . With air bag simulators installed at all deployable SRS devices, prove out system. See PROVE OUT SYSTEM  under DIAGNOSTICS. Activate air bag system. See ACTIVATING SYSTEM  under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM. Check AIR BAG warning light to ensure system is functioning properly. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK  .
