System Bleeding

NOTE: Some squealing noise may occur due to air in the system.
  1. If necessary, remove hydraulic system from vehicle. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION  . Remove fill plug at end of pump. If fluid level is not at bottom of hole, add Mercon Multi-Purpose ATF (XT-2-QDX). Install fill plug.
  2. Connect a 12-volt power source to convertible top motor connector. Fully extend and retract lift cylinders 3 times. Remove fill plug and check fluid level. Add fluid as necessary.
  3. Install fill plug. Install hydraulic system into vehicle (if removed). Check system operation.
