Test D: Speed Control Does Not Disengage When Clutch Is Applied

Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect Clutch Pedal Position (CPP) switch harness connector C260. CPP switch is located on clutch pedal bracket. Using DVOM, measure resistance between CPP switch terminals (component side). When clutch pedal is depressed, resistance should be more than 10 k/ohms. When clutch pedal is released, resistance should be 5 ohms or less. If resistance is as specified, replace speed control servo/actuator. Speed control servo/actuator is located behind left front fenderwell. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION  . If resistance is not as specified, replace CPP switch.
