Inspection & Verification

Verify customer's complaint by operating Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system using RKE transmitters. Check for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage. Check for blown fuses No. 19 (15-amp), No. 25 (25-amp) and No. 39 (5-amp) located in Central Junction Box (CJB). CJB is located behind left side of instrument panel, left of steering column. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Check for damaged relays, loose or corroded connectors, or damaged wiring harness. Check for damaged transmitters or worn batteries. Repair or replace components as necessary. If no visual damage is evident, perform self-diagnostics. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM .
