Wiper/Washer Switch
WARNING:
Vehicle is equipped with an air bag system. System MUST be disabled before working near steering column and instrument cluster to prevent air bag deployment. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article.
NOTE:
Wiper and washer switches are part of multifunction switch assembly.
Disconnect wiper/washer switch Gray 7-pin harness connector C240. Measure resistance of multifunction switch between specified terminals with wiper/washer switch in appropriate position. See WIPER/WASHER SWITCH RESISTANCE TEST table. See Fig 1 . Replace multifunction switch if readings are not as specified. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION .
